The Finance Department is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of all City operations and is entrusted with collecting, depositing, and investing and disbursing all City funds. This includes: maintaining all financial records for the City; accounts payable; investment and cash management; coordinating the annual operating and capital budget process for all City operations; coordinating the annual audit process; preparation of the comprehensive annual financial report; and the administration of the City's payroll processes.

Capital Improvement Plan 

A Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a community planning tool used to guide capital improvements over a multi-year period (5 years).

Capital improvements refer to major, non-recurring physical expenditures such as; land acquisition, new buildings, public infrastructure (sewers/streets) and equipment.
