The mission of the CDBG Program is to promote the development of our diverse and thriving community by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment; and expanded economic opportunities for persons of low and moderate incomes including financial assistance to low-income  homeowners.

This department collaborates with the Department of Public Works in funding infrastructure projects in areas within Berwyn that are designated low to moderate income, as well as local social agencies that directly provide services to Berwyn residents.
