Berwyn Depot District Project
Street Landscaping (Phase II)
The Depot District Streetscape project is a program designed to improve the infrastructure, streets, sidewalks, and landscaping within the Depot District. The work has been paused for the winter months. The construction work will continue on the last week of March 2024 and continue through September. The inconvenience of the construction work will result in improved streets, parking areas, and pedestrian walkways.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
The City encourages greater use of green transportation alternatives by providing publicly accessible charging stations for residents, regardless of whether or not they have access to charging in a personal garage, and to those visiting or working in our community.
One (1) Level 2 and one (1) Level 3 charging stations are located in the City’s Municipal Parking Structures. Level 2 charging station provides a full charge in 2 – 6 hours, is self-service, and is easy to operate. A Level 3 charge station can provide a full charge to an electrical vehicle in 20 minutes.

Residential LED Streetlights
The City of Berwyn has begun upgrading the existing street lighting along the residential streets with Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology. LED lighting is energy efficient, returning 50% to 80% savings over conventional lighting and reducing emissions.
